Why do people are wearing watches? They have time in cell phones. Isn't that retro, to wear piece of art like this?
Let me explain some situation You've been in without describing that minute after minute. It's for You to think.
As you probably already know, we're up here, existing on Earth under some special conditions. It's called dementions. We're living in some general situation, called spacetime. It means, we're livin' in this particular time in this particular place and we're going throught particular situations, therefore we're changing. We're changing in the area of our mentality and physical form in purpose (we can moderate that, partially) and we're changing in time (but we have no specific impact on that, except of some exceptions).
So, assuming: why watches?
Watches, because it's a symbol of us UP HERE, in this very one moment with this very definite components of matter, time and space. Watches, because - when You're looking at that, You can easily remember yourself, that all what You're going throught is temporary and You don't have to consider that as some accident in earthly life, but You can't take this deep into You and write that as fact about You in overall. So, why is this symbol so important? It's because it's limiting You. But it's also limited importance of all, what is happening to You up here. Well, in most cases.
So, if someone want You to take it off, it's a sign, that he want to have impact on You as a enterity.
Of course, it's just a symbol. Nobody can't do this. People don't have jurisdiction over other people like this. Even people with non-human force inside. It's just a game. Unpleasent, sometimes. Screwed up, often. But, at least, it's only on when we're here.
